The Regional Court of Nador gives
its verdict in the case of the 14 Bahá'ís imprisoned in Morocco on
charges of sedition: four are acquitted on the grounds that they claim
to be Muslims; one is acquitted apparently through family connections;
one is released on 15 years' probation owing to his diabetes; five are
committed to life imprisonment; and three are condemned to death.
