Generally, the family of Bahá'u'lláh. However, this term has meant different things at different periods of Bahá'í history. In the time of Bahá'u'lláh the whole of Bahá'u'lláh's family was considered to be the Holy Family. Today, however, Bahá'ís generally include only Bahá'u'lláh, Navváb and their children (‘Abdu'l-Bahá, Bahíyyih K̲h̲ánum and Mírzá Mihdí) and not ‘Abdu'l-Bahá's half-brothers and half-sister. In the time of ‘Abdu'l-Bahá the ‘Holy Family' referred to ‘Abdu'l-Bahá, Munírih K̲h̲ánum, and their daughters and grandchildren. |
