| The writing of a will and testament is enjoined upon all Bahá'ís. They are free to make bequests as they wish but if they leave no will, the Kitáb-i-Aqdas specifies the division of inheritance among relatives and includes a provision for inheritance by teachers. The ordinances regarding inheritance have not yet been put into general effect. |
