Named by Bahá'u'lláh 'The Wolf' (D̲h̲i'b),
a notorious divine of Iṣfáhán who pronounced the death sentence on
two brothers known as the King of Martyrs and the Beloved of Martyrs.
Bahá'u'lláh addressed his Lawḥ-i-Burhán (Tablet of the Proof) to
S̲h̲ayk̲h̲ Muḥammad-Báqir. 'The Wolf' died alone and deserted in Iraq
in 1884.
The
"Wolf," to whom Bahá'u'lláh addressed His "Tablet of the Proof" and to whom He referred as "the last trace of sunlight upon the mountain-top." (GPB 232).
