| Prophets, Lesser - Followers, promoters of the Greater Prophet. They are not independent: 'they receive the bounty of the independent Prophets, and they profit from the light of the Guidance of the universal Prophets. They are like the moon, which is not luminous and radiant itself, but receives its light from the sun.'41 The Prophets of Israel and the Old Testament, such as Solomon, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel, are not regarded as Manifestations "endowed with constancy".'42 |
